SPAACES is now offering pop-up exhibition/gallery space for rent. SPAACES exhibition space houses an expansive 1200 sq.ft. industrial style gallery space with clean white walls, high open rafter ceiling, track and natural lighting with a garage dock door.

Pop-up exhibitions are showcased in the mid weeks of each month, with renters having the space from Thursday to Monday—dates are negotiable and scheduled around SPAACES seasonal programming. 

All exhibitions focus on contemporary and conceptual art and provide exposure for local and Florida based artists, right here in Sarasota, FL. The galleries open hours are at the renter’s discretion during the time of the exhibition.

Artists interested in the space should submit their portfolio and artist statement to proposals@spaaces.art. Submissions are subject to the approval of SPAACES and do not guarantee a show in the Gallery Space.

SPAACES is centrally located just a few blocks northeast of downtown Sarasota in an air- conditioned industrial space. Wi-Fi available.

A rented exhibition space does not include SPAACES promotion and marketing, SPAACES installation, wall text, labeling, or a SPAACES art opening.

Cost

• $200 for a one (1) full day event (From 9AM – 9PM)
• $450 for four (4) full days, including an event  (From Thursday 9AM – Sunday 9PM)
• $65 cleaning fee (optional), if you would like us to take care of cleanup for you.

Payment is due one week before the event. Checks should be made out to SPAACES

Cleanup

One member of the SPAACES staff is required to stay on the premises for the event and will take care of sweeping and garbage disposal. Event hosts and planners must clean up all tables, food and any other material that was brought by the event staff. If you are unable to take care of cleaning up after the event, you can take advantage of our cleaning service for the small fee of $65.

Hours of Operation

The renter should know that even though regular gallery closing time is 6pm, events are allowed to go on till 9:00pm, that is when all cleanup must be complete and all persons must be out of the building. In the event the renter should need or want to extend these hours, please contact us to make additional arrangements.
