Join us at SPAACES for a high-energy, one-night-only immersive Sarasota art event that also serves as a community fundraiser. This free, all-ages celebration brings together visual art, live music, dance, performance, and nightlife in a bold, unforgettable evening where creativity and generosity meet.
SQUEEZE builds momentum for Sarasota’s contemporary arts ecosystem during Giving Challenge 2026’s critical 24-hour fundraising window. All donations up to $100 made to participating local nonprofits will be matched by a generous gift from The Patterson Foundation.
Hosted at SPAACES, SQUEEZE is a true community collaboration presented by five partners: SPAACES, Artist Series Concerts, Sarasota Contemporary Dance, and DJ Karim Manning. Together, these collaborators transform the gallery into a shared platform for experimentation and collective impact. Running alongside the event is the exhibition Object/Subject: The Body, Space, and Acts of Transformation (March 28–May 16, 2026), which provides a conceptual backdrop that deepens the evening’s performances and installations.
What to Expect
- Live music performed by Artist Series Concerts a string quartet, staged in the round.
- Freestyle rap by Karim Manning, activating the space with rhythm and movement
- Dance performances by Sarasota Contemporary Dance
- Contemporary artwork by a curated group of visual artists
